Want strength and cardio in one workout? This is for you!
We combine resistance exercises with TurboKick-inspired combinations for a fun, full-body session. You’ll challenge your muscles, get your heart pumping, and keep your workout interesting by switching things up.
It’s a great option for busy women who want to make the most of their workout time.
Let’s get stronger for the life we want to live!
This strength-focused class uses Body Pump-inspired, choreographed resistance exercises to challenge your major muscle groups and build muscular endurance.
Using weights or other appropriate resistance, we’ll work on the strength that helps us carry groceries, climb stairs, lift things, play with our kids and grandkids, and maintain independence as we age.
You can choose weights that work for your current fitness level and focus on good form and controlled movement.
You don’t have to lift the heaviest weights or keep up with anyone else. You just have to start where you are and keep showing up.
🌱Why four options? Because variety helps keep exercise enjoyable and gives you different ways to work toward your goals. Some days you might want cardio, other days you might want to focus on strength, and sometimes you need a little more stretching and mindful movement.
I love choreographed workouts because the movements are set to the beat of the music. You listen, follow the cues, learn the combinations, and get swept up in the rhythm.
Before you know it, your workout is done!
🌱After more than 20 years of teaching fitness, I know that exercise doesn’t have to feel like a chore. It can be energizing, empowering, and FUN.
🌱I’m a busy mom and a nurse, too. I understand how easy it is to put everyone else first. That’s why I believe in making movement accessible at home, on your schedule, and in a way that fits your real life.
Let’s get into a routine together!
🌱 Sunday Reset Recipe: Easy Chia Seed Pudding
Looking for an easy breakfast or snack that helps you get more fiber into your day? Try this simple chia seed pudding!
Chia seeds are a wonderful source of fiber and also provide plant-based omega-3 fatty acids. Fiber supports digestive health, helps with fullness, and can contribute to healthy blood sugar management as part of a balanced diet.
Ingredients
* 2 tablespoons chia seeds
* ½ cup of your favorite milk
* ÂĽ cup plain Greek yogurt
* ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
* Cinnamon to taste
* ½ cup berries or sliced banana
* Optional: 1 tablespoon peanut butter
Directions
1. Stir the chia seeds, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together in a jar or bowl.
2. Mix well, wait about five minutes, and stir again to prevent clumping.
3. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours, preferably overnight.
4. In the morning, stir and add yogurt, fruit, or peanut butter.
Why I love this recipe
* Fiber: Two tablespoons of chia seeds provide roughly 8–10 grams of fiber, depending on the product.
* Healthy fats: Chia seeds provide plant-based omega-3 fatty acids.
* Protein: milk and yogurt can contribute protein, especially when you choose higher-protein options.
* Convenience: Prepare it the night before for an easy breakfast on a busy morning.
Start with a smaller portion if you’re not used to eating much fiber, and increase gradually while drinking enough water.
🌱My goal is to make healthy habits simple enough that we can actually stick with them. You don’t need a complicated meal plan to start nourishing your body!
