"Embracing Change: Thriving in Your 40s and Beyond"

The Eagle has the longest life-span of its species. It can live up to 70 years.

But to reach this age, the eagle must make a very difficult decision!

In its 40th year, the eagle's long and flexible Talons can no longer grab a prey which serves as food.

It's long and sharp beak becomes bent.

Its old-aged and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers, stick to its chest and make it difficult to fly.

Then, the eagle is left with only two options: DIE or go through a painful process of CHANGE!

The process requires the eagle to fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out.

Then the eagle will wait for the new beak to grow back after which it will pluck out its talons. When its talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its old aged feathers.

And after this the eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and LIVES for 30 more years!!

Why is Change needed???

In order to survive and live. We too have to start the change process.

We sometimes need to get rid of the unpleasant old memories, negative habits and our fixed mindset.

Only Freed from the past burdens can we take advantage of the present.

If an eagle can make a life saving and life changing decision at the age of 40....why can't we?

In order to take on a New Journey ahead, let go of your negative old limiting beliefs.

Open up your mind and let yourself fly high like an eagle!

When it rains, all birds occupy shelter. But the EAGLE avoids the rain by flying above the clouds....

The problem is common to all but the attitude to solve it makes the difference!

Don't be afraid of change...accept it gracefully..!!!

❤️At the precise moment I needed it, I came across this story. The various changes happening in my life were starting to have a detrimental effect on me. I felt like I was losing my sense of self because I was hesitant to embrace the person I was evolving into. I was reluctant to part ways with the previous version of myself - the lively, young, ambitious 30-year-old. Now in my 40s, my children require less of my attention, my parents are aging, my friends' parents are falling ill, my body is undergoing changes, my facial wrinkles are becoming more pronounced, and I have noticed gray hair and excess weight around my belly which I have never had!- possibly due to hormonal changes. Some days, I find myself fearful of death, aging, or losing loved ones. I am apprehensive about my children growing older and becoming independent.

❤️I began to believe that I was becoming insignificant in this vast world. It seemed like my skills were no longer in demand, I was too old to instruct classes, I was too old to reenter the field of cosmetology. I felt as though my time was up. I made light of it by saying I was retired, but deep down, it was a terrible sensation to feel dispensable in the world.

❤️Only after discovering that I had a completely NEW chapter ahead of me did I begin to gradually rediscover the joy and light. What I believed to be the end of my career turned out to be just the beginning.

❤️As I reflect on my 30-year-old self, I realize that the journey has brought me to my 40-year-old self, and I have no desire to return to the past. There are many exciting things ahead for me, and the same goes for YOU!

❤️Even when you reach 40+ and your children become more independent, remember that you are still a significant part of God's plan.

Waking up signifies having a purpose, as each day God grants you life, there is a purpose for you to fulfill. Finding your purpose doesn't have to be a complex task. If you wonder about your purpose, it is not a grand discovery that will suddenly bring eternal peace and harmony to your life.

Your purpose is determined by what God presents to you each day. It's about making a positive impact on someone else's life, serving others, and finding joy in the present moment. This is your purpose every single day, regardless of your age. If you wake up today, you have a responsibility to fulfill for God.

You are a vessel of God's love, embodying His image by spreading joy, hope, and compassion in your daily actions. Every time you bring a smile, offer support, show kindness, or lend a helping hand, you are truly living out His will.

❤️Life is all about change; nothing remains constant - if you resist change, you stagnate. This applies not only in the physical sense but also in other aspects of life.

❤️I am starting to teach class again, Dancing Yoga this Thursday night you can sign up here your first class is free!!

As for my career and retirement- I am retiring from being a hairdresser but I have a long career in nursing ahead of me and everytime I help a patient I know I am called to do this!

My kids will always need me- I have come to realize this as I still need my mom and I am 40+!
