Spoonfuls of Peanut Butter? (and not going to bed P!&&ED off)

Updated: Feb 4, 2021

Do you go to the pantry late at night for a healthy snack and grab the peanut butter?

You think "Hey, it is low in carbs and high in protein, better than the chips. Right?" Well, I do it too and that is not right. The fat and calorie content is through the roof high when you are not monitoring how much you are eating. Let's be real we ain't doin no measuring in the wee hours of the night.

In fact those few spoonfuls could add up VERY QUICKLY to 300-500 or more calories and not even make you feel full at all. You could go back to bed hungry and wake up pissed off that you just ate all the peanut butter and now you feel heavy and bloated!

You do not want to end your day or start your day feeling yucky about your choices.

That is why it is so important to be incredibly intentional with what you go to bed feeling. What you take to bed with you YOU WILL WAKE up with in the morning.

Go to bed pissed, wake up pissed. Go to bed resentful, wake up resentful. Go to bed mad at yourself, wake up mad at yourself. You get the point.

This is not about the peanut butter. This is about not being mad at yourself for your choices and not being upset with others about theirs. Not right before bed anyway.

Let go of all of the heaviness of the day before your head hits the pillow and you will be sure to wake up with a much lighter, healthier mindset to bring on the next day.

The more you practice letting go of the bullshit the easier it will become. Forgive yourself, forgive others and bring on the new day with a pep in your step and a mindset that anything is possible! All just by going to bed happy.

How? Focus tonight and every night ONLY ON WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE HAPPEN in the next coming days. Stay in that elevated state as you drift off and just see what can happen for you in the days to come.

BUT- for you who want to eat a bowlful of peanut butter for a snack at night.. try this instead...
